What are cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website asks your browser to store on your device when you visit. They allow the site to remember information about your visit — such as your preferred language or whether you have accepted certain processing — so that the next time you return, or as you move between pages, the site can adapt accordingly. Similar technologies (local storage, session storage, pixels) work in comparable ways and are covered by the same rules and by this policy.
02
Categories of cookies we use
We classify cookies and similar technologies following AEPD guidance: (1) Strictly necessary — required for the site to function and to remember the choices you have actively made (such as language and your own cookie preferences); these do not require consent. (2) Analytics — help us understand how the site is used in aggregate, without identifying individual visitors. (3) Marketing/advertising — used to deliver targeted advertising or to track users across sites; we do NOT use marketing or advertising cookies on this site.

Cookies currently in use
The following table lists every cookie or cookie-like identifier that may be set when you visit this site. We update it whenever the set of tools we use changes.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Category | Duration | Party |
|---|
| cc_cookie | veranaventures.com | Stores your cookie consent decision (which categories you accepted or rejected) so we do not ask again on every page load. | Strictly necessary | 6 months | First-party |
| NEXT_LOCALE | veranaventures.com | Remembers the language you have selected so the site continues to display in that language as you navigate. Set only after you actively choose a language. | Strictly necessary | 12 months | First-party |
| _vercel_* (analytics) | Vercel, Inc. | Aggregated web analytics (page views, referrers, country, device) via Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. Loaded only after the visitor has accepted the Analytics category in the cookie banner. | Analytics | Session | First-party |
04
Consent
Non-essential cookies (Analytics) are only set after you have given consent through the cookie banner, which appears on your first visit and any time your previous consent has expired or been withdrawn. You can accept all, reject all, or configure granularly. Closing the banner without making a choice does not constitute consent and no non-essential cookies will be set. Your consent is stored for 6 months, after which the banner will appear again.
05
How to change or withdraw your consent
You can change or withdraw your cookie consent at any time by clicking "Cookie settings" in the footer, which re-opens the consent panel. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before the withdrawal.
06
How to disable cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser's settings. The exact process depends on the browser you use; see the help section of your browser or the AEPD's guide at www.aepd.es. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may cause parts of the site, including the cookie banner itself, to behave unexpectedly.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example if we add or remove a tool, or if the underlying law or guidance changes. The latest version is always at this URL. For any question about this policy, write to us at elaine@veranaventures.com.
